Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Who we are

The Hermes Terminal course ("the Course") is sold by Surfidea, Zdziechowskiego 10/73, 02-659 Warsaw, Poland ("we", "us"), operated by Jacob Wlodarczyk. Contact: support@hermes-terminal.com. These terms govern your purchase and use of the Course through this website and our checkout provider.

2. The product

The Course is digital educational content: an ebook (~60 pages), 8 video lessons, a materials pack (checklists, scripts, skill files), and free content updates as described on the sales page. Nothing physical is shipped. The Course teaches you to set up and operate open-source software on infrastructure you rent yourself; the software and the infrastructure are not part of the product (see section 8).

3. Ordering and payment

4. Delivery and access

Access is delivered immediately after payment via the checkout provider: the ebook and materials as downloads, the video lessons streamed in the course area. Access does not expire. Keep your access email; if you lose access, contact support and we will restore it.

5. Refunds - the 30-day guarantee

Our guarantee is simple: 30 days, full refund, no questions asked - and you keep the downloaded materials. Email support@hermes-terminal.com from your purchase email within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the full price to your original payment method.

Statutory rights (EU/UK consumers). By purchasing digital content you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content once delivery has begun. This does not limit our voluntary 30-day guarantee above, which is broader, nor any statutory warranty rights regarding defective digital content.

6. License and acceptable use

7. Intellectual property

The Course content (text, video, structure, materials) is our intellectual property or licensed to us, protected by copyright. Trademarks and names of third parties (including Bloomberg, Telegram, Nous Research) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

8. Third-party software and running costs

9. Updates

"Free updates" means: we track releases of the underlying software, re-validate the Course against major releases, document breaking changes, and refresh Course content accordingly, for as long as the Course is on sale. It does not obligate us to provide individual technical support beyond reasonable email assistance.

10. Educational disclaimer - not financial advice

The Course is education about building a research tool. It is not financial, investment, tax, or trading advice, and it is not a personal recommendation. The tool you build produces analysis for your own judgment; it does not trade for you. Markets involve substantial risk of loss. No outcome, profit, or performance is promised or implied. Any example outputs shown are illustrations of software behavior, not recommendations. Hypothetical or simulated examples have inherent limitations and past performance of any method is not indicative of future results. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to the Course is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for trading losses, loss of profit, data loss, or costs of third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including our liability for willful misconduct or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, you also enjoy the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there. We prefer to fix problems directly - write to support first; most issues (including refunds) are resolved within one business day.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
